Vila Real, not only because of the name it was given, also has an exuberant nature, with the potential to attract national and even international investors.
It is a region known worldwide for its wine production. It would also be convenient to create tourist routes that include visits to wineries and cultural events in order to attract investors.
In short, improving road transport infrastructure, making it accessible for welcoming investors and tourists: improving urban spaces, with a view to creating businesses for areas of commerce and housing, tax incentives, education and training, health, culture and historical heritage.

At a time when information is more important than ever, support regional and local journalism. Access to most of VTM's news is (still) free, but it is not free of charge. Journalism costs money and requires investment. This contribution is a way of directly supporting A Voz de Trás-os-Montes and its journalists. Our contribution is independent and local journalism, but not only that. It is continuing to inform despite all the contingencies of confinement, without having stopped for a single day.
